List Building

Building an optin list is the most productive activity an online marketer can work on.  This is because a database of opt-in subscribers is truly an asset.  There are marketers, like Jimmy D. Brown or Mike Filsaime, who literally make 5 figures by writing an email and hitting the "submit" button.

Mike Filsaime has a subscriber base of over 300,000.  These are people who requested to receive information from him, from one of his list building activities.  For him, that list is like a license to print money.

There are numerous ways to build an optin list, but you have to get the essentials right.  As I explained in this article, you need to go with a reputable autoresponder service.  I am using Aweber, because it has the highest email deliverability of the industry (99.34%), it has excellent customer support, and an extremely easy to use interface.

Once you have a way to capture subscribers, and build your optin list, you have to harness a relationship with them.  You can't just bombard them with ads every single day without giving them any value. 

The bottom line, is if you are trying to make money online and you are not building a list, then get to it immediately.  Whatever online business you have, can be skyrocketed if you incorporate list building and email marketing to it, with autopilot long term results.
